Hey everyone, I’m Yasmin Alexander, BANT registered nutritional therapist and resident nutritionist here at Boundless! 
 
My job as a nutritionist is super diverse and flexible which is why I love it. I see clients in my private practice, where I specialise in women’s health, and offering many corporate services such as hosting talks and webinars and mini 1-1 consultations for staff. My aim as a nutritionist is to educate, empower and inspire my clients and audience, both in person and on social media platforms to live healthier and happier lifestyles.
Often, when I mention that I’m a nutritionist, many people are quick to assume that means I just help clients lose weight, but nutrition is SO much more that this, and even more importantly, our health and personal value is so much more than just our weight. With the right nutrition you are better able to feel better, have more energy, reach goals with your training and exercise, balance your hormones, concentrate, reduce joint pain, improve digestive health, and so much more.
 
 

 
Here are some fun facts about me:
  1. I'm a dog mum to the most lovable and gorgeous red toy poodle
  2. I'm afraid of pigeons – and most birds
  3. Steretypical nutritionist with this one -I am obsessed with avocados and guacamole
  4. I was born into this world in a car!
  5. I really hope to run the London marathon one day after feeling so inspired watching others run it.
Biggest nutrition myths I am forever trying to dispel:
  • Calories are the only way we should categorise and ranks foods - NOPE.
  • Low fat equals a healthy product- Nope.
  • All fats are unhealthy, and we shouldn’t eat them- Also a nope.
  • The less we eat, the better- umm, nope!
  • We should cut out fruit if trying to cut down on sugar- again, it's a nope from me!
